INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken breast boneless 4 pieces
- Oregano 2 tsp
- Paprika powder 1/2tsp
- Onion powder 1/2tsp
- Garlic powder 1/2tsp
- Black Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
- Fresh lime juice 1tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Oil 2 tbsp
METHOD:
Serving Size: 3-4
Place chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap on a chopping board. Using a meat mallet gently pound each breast to 1/2-inch thickness.
Marinate the breast pieces with salt, lime juice, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, 1tbsp oil and paprika powder for at least 30 minutes or in the refrigerator for up to 12 hours.
Heat oil in a grill pan and place the chicken pieces on it.
Grill the chicken on a medium high heat for 5-6 minutes per side flipping the pieces halfway through.
Once the chicken is browned on both sides remove from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.
Garnish with lemon wedges and serve grilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies.
