INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken Mince 500 gm.
- Bread Slices 3-4 medium (edges trimmed)
- Cheese 1/2 cup (Optional)
- Cream 1 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Garlic Cloves 4-5 minced
- Onions 1 finely chopped
- Chili Flakes 1/2 tsp
- Tomato Paste 2 tbsp
- Spinach 2 cups finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
- Oregano 1 tsp
- Oil for frying
METHOD:
Serving Size: 4-5
Soak the bread slices in 2–3 tablespoons of milk or water, then squeeze out the excess liquid.
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients with ground chicken until thoroughly combined. Mash the soaked bread slices into the mince.
Roll the mixture into small balls. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches and cook until golden brown on all sides, ensuring the inside is fully cooked.
Alternatively, you can bake them in a preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through.
Toss the meatballs in sweet chili sauce or serve them on their own with sweet chili sauce, mint chutney, or tomato ketchup, accompanied by a fresh salad.
NOTE:
Home-minced chicken from thighs is stickier, which improves binding. The meatballs will be juicier and more flavorful.
