INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken Thighs 8 pieces
- Garlic Powder 1 tsp
- Paprika 1 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- All-purpose flour 1/4 th cup
- Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Honey 2 tbsp
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Garlic cloves minced 3 tbsp
- Vinegar 1 1/2 tbsp
METHOD:
Serving Size: 3-4
Sprinkle each side of the chicken thighs with salt.
Place flour in a shallow dish. Mix garlic powder, salt, pepper powder, and paprika powder. Coat chicken in flour and shake off excess.
Melt butter and oil in a large skillet over high heat.
Place the chicken in skillet and sear in medium high heat for 6-8 minutes until golden. Turn and cook the other side for 5 minutes.
Make a bit of room in the pan and add minced garlic. Stir fry garlic briefly.
Add vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Stir to combine. Simmer the sauce for 1 minute or until it slightly thickens.
Turn chicken to coat in sauce. If the sauce gets too thick add a touch of water and stir.
Remove from heat and pour over cooked rice.
