INGREDIENTS:
- Fish Fillet 5-6
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Paprika Powder 1 tsp
- Garlic Powder 1 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
- Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
- Garlic Cloves 1 tsp minced
- Salt as required
- Parsley 1 tbsp fresh or dried
METHOD:
Serving Size: 2-3
Place the fish fillets in a bowl and rub them on both sides with garlic powder, salt, paprika powder, black pepper powder, and 1 teaspoon oil.
Keep the fish in the marinade to sit for 10 minutes.
Pour oil and butter into a large flat-bottomed pan and let it heat. If the oil isn't hot, the fillets are likely to break.
Once the oil is hot, place two fillets at a time, discarding the marinade. You can even add a couple of capers for added flavor.
Cook on each side for 2 minutes. If the fish is overcooked, all its moisture is lost, and it becomes tasteless. Transfer the cooked fish to a serving platter.
In the same pan, stir-fry the minced garlic and add the lemon juice, parsley, and salt to it. Cook for another 2 minutes on low heat, making sure to mix together until smooth.
Layer the fish back into the pan. Continue cooking the fish over a low to medium flame for another 3 minutes while spooning the sauce over the fish fillet.
Serve lemon butter garlic fish with salad and roasted potatoes.
